Who’s who

The church has a minister and deacons who seek to lead the church.

The minister is Rev'd Simon A. Russell.

Simon comes from South Wales. He was a primary school teacher in London before training for ministry at Spurgeons College. He was a member at Selsdon Baptist church and served there in many capacities. He also was a scout leader and involved in various voluntary groups in Croydon. During his life he has been on mission trips to Slovakia, Uganda and the Czech Republic.

He loves watching sport.

At the moment there are four Deacons who are supported by the Acting Secretary and the Treasurer.
